Hello and welcome to my Fire Service Links page. First just a little about
myself. I've been with the Natchez Fire Department since, March 1982, starting
out as a Firefighter and working through the ranks of Lieutenant and Captain. I served as the Department Training Officer from November 1994 through December 1995.
I have been serving as a Shift Commander since January, 1996. (Currently A-Shift) I am also an Associate
Instructor for the MS
State Fire Academy conducting classes for county fire schools. These
classes primarily concentrate on Volunteer Firefighters and the services
they provide.
The Natchez Fire Department provides Fire and Rescue Service to a populated
area of over 30,000 which includes Adams County.
Our Department runs 4 Stations with 5 pumpers and a 110' ladder truck.
We also have a Rescue Unit equipped with "Jaws-of-Life".
